DR 611E  Drawing in Color

Discover the beauty and excitement that color can add to your drawing. Sharpen your observational drawing skills while working from a variety of interesting subject matter and learn to integrate color successfully. Work with both low intensity and pure, directly applied color with chalks, pastels, watercolor and pencil crayons on various papers, used individually and in combination. Masters from the past and present including Watteau, Redon and Thiebaud will be discussed. Basic drawing experience recommended.
6-weeks, Saturdays, June 4 - July 9

DR 621EW  Mixed Media Drawing and Painting
The line between drawing and painting is a blurry and exciting one, as seen in the work of Degas, Jim Dine and Egon Schiele. Learn to use and combine both wet and dry media on paper including brush and ink, watercolor, gouache, tempera, crayon and pastel.
